Round 2 was held at a beautifully presented Gardiner’s Run golf course & we had another tough opponent this week in Patterson River.
Like last week we were locked in a tight battle with another former Division 4 side and we pushed them deep into the match.
We welcomed Dave and Durim into the side and they both pushed their opponents throughout their matches. Unfortunately, we were on the wrong side of the margin this week going down 4-3 in a close match.
Durim, Ben & Jasleen got their matches to the 17th hole but the deficit was too great to get back, and Darren got beaten by a 20ft birdie putt on the last to go one down on 18. Another strong win from Pete with 7 holes to play. Dave had Dale on caddy duties and they proved to be a dangerous combination, winning with 4 holes to play.
Captain Aaron and his caddy Pete M got their first win for the season in a tight match that ended on the 17th hole. In a close season we are still in the hunt, and can bounce back after the break against Yering at Churchill-Waverley on the 16th March.

Round 3 saw the team travel to Rowville to take on Yering Meadows at the Waverley Course.

Persistent heavy rain saw numerous delays before the contest was eventually abandonded without a ball being teed.

Round 4 @ Yarrambat 

This Sunday Yarrambat play host to proceedings as we take on Berwick Montuna.  With 1 win separating positions 3 – 8 it is a very tight season and any support would be appreciated.

Come on down and cheer on the boys.
