YGC Presentation Day

Saturday 20th December 2025

The Yarrambat Golf Club’s annual presentation day will be held on Saturday the 20th December.

Wear your Club Shirts/Caps or a rock a Christmas theme.

The format for the day will be 9-hole 4 person Ambrose with 8:30AM arrival for an 9:00AM shotgun start.

Bookings will open this Saturday night and most likely a randomised group draw will be conducted –  double check your hole and team on the morning. This is part of being part of a Club, and not just a social 4 ball.  (*And for for those ‘naysayers’ out there – you’ve played with the same people for at least once or twice a week for 50 weeks of the year, if not more – have some fun and play with someone new)

After registration you can collect your commemorative 20th Anniversary bag tag

There are 2 different competitions – Front 9 and Back 9 – both 9s are independently rated for 9 hole competitions.

There are no competition or separate green fees payable on the day.

For those who have not played team golf for a while, or have never played before, the format of this Saturday’s competition is an unseeded 4 person Ambrose –

• each player must play a minimum 2 drives (keep track somewhere)
• once the preferred ball is selected all other balls are played within ONE hand-span
• if the preferred ball is in a bunker or hazard – all balls must be played from the same condition
• this format continues until the ball is holed
• for groups of less than 4 – ONE extra putt by any player is permitted (no additional drives etc)
• pace of play – please be ready to play when it is your turn, and keep up with the group in front
• The Eagle’s Nest does not apply to this event.
• Nominal prizes will be awarded by the Committee to place getters

Only one person needs to score your group on the App & the group low marker will be the designated Team Captain.

After the round be entertained by the meillifluous tone of our own Terence Jeremia as you partake in the feast. Award presentation will commence approx 30 mins after the round and the Club’s Champions and winners from throughout the year will be celebrated.

Cocktail style food service will be provided (there is plenty, so please don’t be a seagull at the kitchen door!) and beverages are available at discountred member’s prices.

• Mini dim sims, samosas & spring roll platters 
• Sandwich platters 
• Vegetarian options
• Charcuterie grazing platters
• (if you have special dietary requirements please advise Ali or the Committee)

We hope to see as many members play on the presentation day as possible as this is the day when we all come together as a Club, to celebrate the achievements of our members. 

 

Wednesday 17th

Matt and the team from Yarrambat Golf will be hosting a BBQ from around 8:30AM this Wednesday.

Grab a breakfast / mid-morning snag or two on your way round!

Wear your Club shirt/hat.
