Dear Members, 

This past Sunday we hosted the 3rd Annual Match Play Cup in what has always been used as a pre cursor to the Men’s VGA Pennant Season. 
This event was started by Colin Hall and is held in great esteem by both the Rosanna GC and Yarrambat GC respectively and in a tradition both clubs would like to see continue for many years ahead. 

Rosanna being a Division 2 club have held the upper hand on Yarrambat over the past 2 years however we knew this year, at home, with what is possibly our strongest pennant team ever assembled we would have a good change of winning back the trophy and I am proud to say our boys did not disappoint!! 

Yarrambat took out a HUGE 5 1/2 – 2 1/12 WIN against the stronger opponent in what will catapult our team into the first game of the season!!

The team would like to thank everyone that cane out to support and especially those who caddied on the day. A very special thank you to one of our Junior members Cameron who caddied for Chris K and Ian Witham who caddied and was reading the greens perfectly for yours truly through the entire day!!
