It is with great pleasure we can announce the winners of each grade for the 2017 Yarrambat Golf Club Championships. 

A Grade 
Winner: Don Tran
Runner Up: George Parthimos 

Don played exceptional golf with his dedicated father Duc caddying for him all four rounds supporting him in every shot. It is wonderful to see a young exciting golfer take out B grade in 2016 and then come back to win A grade in 2017! Don has an exciting golfing career ahead of him and it was a pleasure to play with such a young gentleman in round 3 . Well done Don extremely well deserved win!! 

B Grade   
Winner: Ian Witham 
Runner Up: Brian Summers 

Ian left B grade in his wake from round 1 and continued his dominance from the field across all four rounds. Brian Summers and Ryan Zosel came close at stages and it will certainly make for an exciting 2018 Grade Champs however in 2017 Ian Witham reigns supreme! Well done Ian you certainly are in very consistent form and all your pennant opponents in 2018 should be worried! 

C Grade 
Winner: Trevor Wiseman 
Runner Up: Paul Bennett 

Trevor had a shaky start to round 1 however came back with Nett rounds of 77, 78 & 74 in the following rounds which was enough to take out C grade by 10 shots!! Paul Bennett tried to reel him in however Trevor’s consistent form throughout all conditions was exceptional and wins him the C grade trophy!! 

Well done to all of our winners, runners up and competitors. We will be moving the club championships to a later date in the syllabus next year to mitigate the weather and course conditions we did this year and would welcome any suggestions to make improvements to the 2018 Club Championships.

If each of the winners can please make themselves available for a photo with the perpetual trophy it would be appreciated.
