After 3 competetive rounds, the man on a recent hot streak prevailed over a number close chasers – who were all left ruing small mistakes that ultimately proved costly.

Recovering from a near career-ending wrist injury that allegedly saw him nearly red-carded for staging, and setting up his win with a Medal winning (-4)  first round, Allan ‘Slippery’ Searl (+2) took out this year’s Midweek Championship.

Searly took the win, by the narrow margin of 2 strokes over Lance Allen (+4) with a trio of challengers 2 shots further back (+6), with consistency across the 3 rounds proving to be the difference
