Dear Members,

It is with much sadness we advise of the passing of Bill Jackson after a brief battle with illness.

Bill was a much admired member, generous with his time and effort. He was the inspiration and the glue of the Thursday Super Seniors  back in 2018,  maintaining the most complex competition spreadsheets for daily, monthly seasonal competitions, ntps, second shot ITHs & season stats… it was a monumental task, and one he relished.

After the passing of his wife in July 2021, the Super Seniors was a blessing for Bill, and it became his passion.

My thoughts go out to his family, his playing partners of many years, Fred & Marilyn Gatti and Howard & Joycie Thomsett  and his broader golfing family.
