Members,

It is with sadness we advise of the recent passing of our larger than life member John Hoppner. 

John passed last weekend, just shy of his 80th birthday, after a short battle with illness. John was a YGC member for over 10 years, and his presence will be missed around the course.

Our condolences to his family, regular playing partners – Ron Manning, Fred Ryan and Michael Considine – and friends.
