Members,

Saturday the 1st and Wednesday 5th, August the scoring format we are playing will be nett/ stroke play over 18 holes. 

The are two ‘sessions’, on both days, teeing off between 7:20am & 9:12am off the 1st or 10th, or between 11:20am & 1:04pm. Those teeing off 10 will finish on 9, and vice versa – rounds are averaged at 2 hrs per 9 holes, so managing pace of play is very important to keep the flow, and the required distances.

It is hoped that we can expand the 18 hole opportunities, currently (only) available to Club Members in the near future, 

We appreciate that we would all like to play as much golf as we want, whenever we want; especially during this challenging time when golf is all some of us have to keep us connected and sane.

Please know that your Committee continues  to negotiate with Course management to facilitate a return to 18 hole golf. Ultimately the Course Management must make the best commercial decision, balancing the needs of all course members and maintaining contractual obligations for public access.

We will continue to put our best case forward and advocate on behalf of YGC members; for access, course and facility mprovements, but as we have all heard – these are challenging and unprecedented times.

We recommend all members maintain their email subscription to Yarrambat Park Golf Course for all the latest news, and will keep members updated on YPGC news and any changes to playing conditions as we all try to negotiate these unknown waters.
