YPGC Liquor licence conditions.

Published on 8th June 2020 in Uncategorized

Members,

Now that YPGC have a (temporary) liquor licence to sell “take away” packaged alcohol, we have been asked to clarify a few issues for our members.

1. No BYO alcohol can be consumed on course or within the grouds of YPGC

2. Take away alcohol (cans) can only be consumed on the course proper – while playing golf, and on the course side of the path that runs from the 9th green to the 10th tee.

3. No ‘take away’ alcohol is to be consumed off the course proper – not in the carpark, not at the driving range,  not on the putting green, not around the clubhouse or cafe area.

YPGC and Belgravia Leisure would appreciate our cooperation in retaining their liquor licence, especially given the Cafe will be open on or about 22 June.

And whilst we all enjoy a cold beverage with mates after a round, we appreciate the chance to play golf even more.

Any member who has difficulty complying with these conditions may be excluded from the course by YPGC management.

Let’s all work together to get through these “challenging times”, so we come out the other side healthy and stronger.

Regards,

Stuart Thompson
