Pennant Update

With the unprecedented COVID-19 situation resulting in the cancellation of the 2020 Victorian Pennant Competition, it has been determined that because less than half of the contests were played, the 2020 competition is declared null and void.

Accordingly, all teams will remain in the same divisions as they were drawn in 2020 (Divisions 4 and 5 Colts may be the exception, depending on the number of clubs who enter a Colts team in 2021).

Without knowing the extent and time frames relating to COVID-19, GA are preparing for the 2021 Pennant season so that when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, we are ready to commence the season. Should it look likely that COVID-19 may affect the commencement of the 2021 Pennant season, GA will reassess and advise accordingly.

At this stage the 2021 draw and schedule will mirror the cancelled 2020 season, commencing late February 2021.
