Seniors Pennant 2020 round one kicked off on Monday 2nd March at Yarrambat GC.

 

The weather was a bit damp, but spirits were high and all were keen to battle.

 

96 golfers from 12 teams went out for their shot at glory. As the results were coming in, it was evident that everyone gave their all – with most games decided within a couple of holes of the last and some were settled on (their) 18th hole.

 

Lunch was great, and many stories were shared, so Seniors Pennant is a winner.

 

Yarrambat Blacks winning 5 out of their 8 matches for 10 points against Rosanna Reds was outstanding, a very good result racking up 10 points.

 

Yarrambat Reds a lethargic start only winning 2 of 8 for 4 points. We will get better.

 

Great golf, in good spirit by all and those who didn’t play Round 1 will get their chance to shine at Heidelberg on the 16th.
