The lads ventured out to Werribee Park today to take on newcomers Club Mandalay in great conditions.

An outstanding overall result saw the team come away with a hard fought victory 5 & 2, with the two losses going the distance in tight and tense battles right to the wire.

Great efforts from skipper Darren who was only released from hospital this week (after a nasty bout of gastro) to win 4 & 2;

Jas managed to avoid the #coronavirus, and beat jet-lag after flying in from Malaysia late last night, to win 2 & 1 (after being 6 up);

Daniel was stiff to go down by 2 (after apparently narrowly avoiding getting detained by Trump’s ICE agents in Hawaii this week,)

Alex started his ‘Bat journey with a thumping 7&6 win to send an early message to Mandalay that we were here to play!.

Peter “The Beard” Naismith brought it home down the straight with a clutch 2 up win on 18 (against old ‘Bat member George Parthimos)

Dale fought all the way going down on the 18th to an opponent who conceded nothing,

and Aaron Attwell ensured the resounding win with an outstanding 18th hole to win his match 2 up.
