The draw for the President’s Cup Round 3 matches is listed below

Key Information: 

• Daily handicaps will apply (including on any extra holes required)
• This is a GROSS score event – hole par is irrelevant – it is the lowest number of strokes per hole that count
  • (so if you have a 5 and they have a 6, but get a stroke on the hole, it is halved – it doesn’t matter if its a par 3, 4 or 5.
  • Everyone is ‘off the stick’ unless a stroke is conceded on the Match Play Index – eg: the 18th for all players is par 0 – count the strokes from tee to hole and the lowest score is the winner on the hole )
• Scorecards will be be pre-prepared with handicap differential listed. (YPGC standard match play index to be used)
• Completed scorecards with clear result and both signatures must be submitted after the match or both players will be disqualified
• Matches must be played at the time specified – no other arrangements are permitted
• Format – handicapped (stroke) match play off the Blue / Permanent Red tees
• If tied after 18 holes – the play off holes are 10 & 18 repeated until a result is obtained.
• Do not register on the Club Competition Computer and do not put $5 in the box (unless you’re making a donation!)

Please read up on your match play rules: for example – if you play out of turn, there is no stroke / hole penalty – but your opponent can cancel that shot and ask you to replay the stroke (or if you’ve shanked into the trees or water it may well stand!)
