As a result of an administrative oversight, for which I take full responsibility, the result of last year’s Mid Week Championship was incorrectly calculated as a Gross event, instead of a Nett Handicap event.

This meant that the Mid Week Championship was incorrectly awarded to Dale Sudborough.

I would like to take this  opportunity to apologise to both players, which I have previously done in person, and to formally and publicly acknowledge the correct winner of the Mid Week Championship for 2019. 

The winner of the 2019 Mid Week Championship is Ian Witham, and on behalf of the Committee and Club I congratulate Ian on the outstanding run of form which saw him take this championship by a considerable margin.

 

I would like to acknowledge Dale who has been very understanding regarding this error, and advise that the Honour Board will be updated shortly.
