Updates

Members;

Monday 11 November was double booked – the Hume Vets booked out the course a year ago (8AM shotgun) and it slipped through the cracks – some of the Vets even booked in to the YGC Comp without realising the clash … there will be a YGC Comp starting at 1PM for those keen for a hit after a sleep in!

A few key updates:

New Computer:

Competition registration, competition entry fees and scorecards

The new computer, printer and scorecard scanner is now found inside the Pro Shop.

  1. Scan in or register your attendance with the Pro Shop staff
  2. Go to the new “Touch Screen” Computer”
  3. Swipe your Golf Link card or enter you member number, or Golf Link number or search for you name under “Find Me”
  4. Register for the Competition
  5. Print your scorecard
  6. Pay your Comp fee in the box under the desk
  7. Go play golf.

New Mi Score Scorecard holders will be distributed to financial members over the coming weeks. (Please write your name on it, because replacements won’t be free.)

Key Points:

Use a black or blue Pen (not green or pink) – or HB or 2B Pencil – not a dodgy hard pointed Keno pencil that was purloined from the RSL!

Don’t mess up the ‘dot area’ – keep you signature under the score box

Score the strokes after each hole, and do the dots at the end of the round.

Scan the card with the score facing you – just place it in the top of the scanner and it will feed through itself – do not force it.

  • Check your cards are complete
        • Signatures x 2
        • Player & Marker names
        • Return your completed and checked card into the card slot

Ground Staff Update

  1. New ground staff have been engaged and will commence mid-November
  2. 5 Full time staff
  3. All new equipment
  4. Large professional company, with specialists in turf management
  5. Weekend and weekday mowing / rolling schedule
  6. Course refurbishment / renewal / improvement schedule under development
  7. Plans underway for an additional 35 bunkers and expanded water ways
  8. New Members’ spike bar, member’s lounge area under development
  9. Mini golf powering ahead – with income to fund ongoing works

Things are starting to happen! Look forward to seeing you on the course.
