Local Rule: Construction zone at the back of the 18th Hole is O.O.B.

Published on 13th September 2019 in Uncategorized

Members,

We are excited to see that preparation of construction for the new mini-golf course has commenced. As a result temporary fencing has been erected around the construction zone behind the 18th green.

***from Friday the 13th September 2019, this fenced area is classed as ‘internal out of bounds’ (OOB) and a drop must be taken in the closest designated drop zone with a one stroke penalty.***

(Free relief is available if your ball is outside the fenced area and your stance, or area of intended swing, (not line of play) is impeded by the fence: Rule 16)

This is to ensure a safe work area for the construction crew, and will apply on all days of the week, whether or not a worker is present.

The first stage of the build will occur between the 18th green and the clubhouse.

Please be aware that you will be required to walk left towards the first tee box when exiting the 18th green.

During the works period, we will provide continuous updates on our progress to keep you in the loop and ensure minimal disruptions to your experience. Way-finding signage will be situated on the course for guidance during this time.

YGC Match Committee.
