“King Pin” moved to the 16th hole for September

Published on 5th September 2019 in Uncategorized

Fellow golfers,

In July the Committee  introduced a separate Par 3 competition for those who wish to challenge themselves, and perhaps take home a little extra.

The “King Pin” – nearest the pin – voluntary entry competition is run on Wednesdays and Saturdays

Entry to the “King Pin” competition is $2.

The King Pin marker will be used and the normal NTP is still in play – and you can win both if your shot is good enough.

History has so far shown that those who win the KP have not often been the closest to the pin.

The KP winner on each day will receive a voucher equal to half of the entry pool and if there is no winner that week – it jackpots.

So, if 25 players enter – that’s a $25 King Pin prize.

A separate King Pin Competition entry box is on the counter – write your name on the envelope with your $2 – and drop it in the box before your round to be eligible.

The remaining funds will be used to offset the costs of both Senior and Scratch Pennant teams.

Good luck to all who choose to enter.

YGC Committee.
