Summary of other matters proposed for consideration of the membership:

General Resolution 1 – On behalf of members it is proposed to reward the best player in each grade ‘off the stick’ and award a 3-ball prize for the best Gross score for each of A, B & C Grade on all Medal Day Stroke competitions.

o Proposer – Stuart Thompson

General Resolution 2 – In light of recent protracted discussions and proposals regarding Competition fairness and the levelling role of handicaps – it is proposed to abolish all Grades separations entirely across all competitions; including daily competitions, Club (A, B & C Grade) Championship and the Midweek Championship, and have only one Club “Open” Champion and one Club “Handicap” Champion.

o Proposer – Stuart Thompson

General Resolution 3Prizes in all Competitions be awarded in Field Rundown Order – there is no need for Grade separations as our Golf Link handicaps themselves will deliver a fairer and more equitable result that does not advantage or disadvantage any Grade.

o Proposer – Wolf Dietrich

General Resolution 4Individual NTP holes be reserved for each Grade ensuring that each grade (A, B & C) has one hole where players of comparable standard compete – the current system favours those on a lower handicap to the detriment of those on a higher handicap.

o Proposer – Wolf Dietrich

General Resolution 5Eagles Nests only be awarded on Par 4’s – the current system favours those on a lower handicap (particularly A Grade) to the detriment of those on a higher handicap who cannot reach Par 5’s in 2 shots.

o Proposer – Wolf Dietrich
