Yarrambat Reds
On a dry and testing track, it was a battle of survival against Box Hill. Well done all. 4 Up 4 Down, overcoming an 84 stroke deficit was an effort in it`s own.
Cris (or Con as your opponent addressed you) a huge 19 stroke swing, a 2 up win – a bit of smooth talking and you had him “”Conned”.
Paul B. first game for the Club & that Italian beast looked a bit tame but I’m sure it will roar next time. Down 3&2
Sammy well done, I heard that cart buzzing all over the course with that signature smoke haze all around ( and it wasn’t the fog ).
Tommy, an ever reliable cunning fox, 14 strokes given away, 4 up that was some effort.
Greg Hayes, I believe your opponent had a hearing melt down and gave you the match, we`ll take that, 1 up – well done.
The rest of us will live to fight another day. Overall 8 points in the bag is a forward move.
Next week (6 May 8 AM start) it`s Whittlesea on our turf, a great opportunity to gain some ground, so turn up and play with a smile on the dial.
Next week’s squad will be announced soon.
From the skip,
