President’s Cup Draw: Round 1

As the result of last minute withdrawals due to personal reasons, an amended draw is now posted – please recheck the booking sheet or the draw in the Bat Cave

*** This event is free entry and there is no need to register or print out a card in the Bat Cave – just grab your pair’s YPGC pre-named card and head to the tee***

Conditions of play

• Handicapped Match play (stroke) off the Permanent Blue / Red tees.
• Round 1 handicaps listed
• Handicaps apply to the MATCH PLAY Index listed on the Yarrambat Park Golf Course scorecards – ** note these holes are different to your normal handicapped holes
• Men’s match play index is to be used in all matches
• If a match is ALL SQUARE after 18 holes – play off holes, in order, are the 10th (index 5) and the 18th (index 9) until the match is decided
• Play off holes:
  • If you are playing off 4 or less – there is no handicap allowance for the playoff holes 
  • If you are playing off 5 to 8 then you get one stroke on the 10th hole.
  • If you are playing off 9 or above you get one stroke on both play off holes (if required).
  • If you are required to play 10 or 18 again the above handicap provisions will continue to apply until a result is obtained.
  • Matches continuing onto play off holes will have right of way
• A scorecard – signed by both players – with a clear final result  – must be submitted at the completion of the round. (eg; Smith 2 up or Jones 4 & 3 or Adams by concession)
• Failure to comply will result in both players being eliminated
• ANY disputes must be made known to the Captain or Vice Captain ONLY prior to the end of that day’s competition
• Any member unable to play their next match at or before the scheduled time and date will forfeit that match and notify the Committee
• Matches, by agreement, may be played before the next scheduled round at YPGC from the Blue tees and the Committee is to be notified before that match commences.
• Score Cards for Round One will be pre-prepared and placed next to the Fee Box – in order of play.

 

No member is to alter the President’s Cup booking field without express permission of the Match Committee
